أبنائي وبناتي شباب قارتنا الإفريقية…
أود في البداية أن اعبر لكم عن بالغ سعادتي للاحتفال معكم بمناسبة يوم الشباب الإفريقي ، والذى نحتفل به في الأول من نوفمبر من كل عام منذ أن تم اعتماد ميثاق الشباب الأفريقى بقمة بانجول فى عام 2006، وتأتى أهمية يوم الشباب الإفريقى ليؤكد على إدراك صناع القرار دائما بحقوق ودور الشباب ومساهماتهم فى التغيير الاجتماعى والنمو الاقتصادى والتنمية المستدامة فى جميع انحاء المجتمع الأفريقي، إضافة الى توجيه طاقة الشباب المثالية لتعزيز الجهود نحو تحقيق التنمية المستدامة فى إفريقيا.
كما أنني أود أن أؤكد لكم أن يوم الشباب الإفريقي يمثل تتويجاً لجهود مضنية بذلها قادة الدول الإفريقية وحكوماتها وكافة مؤسساتها المعنية للعمل على تعظيم دور الشباب والاستفادة من إسهاماتهم ودفع البرامج والمشروعات والأنشطة الخاصة بتمكينهم في شتي مجالات ومسارات العمل الوطني .
وهو الأمر الذى أتت ثماره وظهرت جلية واضحة على العديد من دول قارتنا الإفريقية فيما نراه الآن من نهضة شاملة وبرامج تنموية مستدامة تنعم بها العديد من دول القارة خلال الآونة الأخيرة.
ونحن فى جمهورية مصر العربية نعمل في ضوء توجيهات فخامة السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس الجمهورية لدعم وتأهيل وتمكين الشباب الأفريقى من خلال المنح التدريبية والبرامج التعليمية والتأهيلية التى تقدمها مصر لأبنئانا الشباب من القارة الافريقية ، بالإضافة إلى المنح الفنية المتخصصة التى تقدمها الهيئات والمؤسسات المصرية، بما يساهم فى فتح آفاق التنمية ونقل الخبرات والثقافات فى مختلف المجالات والتخصصات.
فضلاً على أن القيادة السياسية المصرية لديها من الرؤية والإرادة العازمة للاتجاه جنوبا وإعلاء قيم الوحدة الأفريقية مع أبناء القارة الواحدة من خلال إعلاء قيمة التعاون (جنوب جنوب)
وقد نفذت وزارة الشباب والرياضة خلال الفترة الماضية عشرات الأنشطة الشبابية القارية بالإضافة إلى استضافة العديد من البطولات والفعاليات والمناسبات إيماناً من الحكومية المصرية بكل قطاعتها ومؤسساتها للعمل على قدم وساق من أجل خدمة شباب افريقيا وتحقيق التعاون الافريقى فى مختلف التخصصات والمجالات.
فعلى مدار الفترة الأخيرة فقط قمنا بتنفيذ أكثر من 40 مشروع ومبادرة على مستوى القارة الإفريقية شارك فيها أكثر من 30 ألف شاب وفتاة من مختلف دول القارة ومنها ملتقى الشباب الإفريقي حول المواطنة والتنمية ومنتدى شباب أفريقيا لدول حوض النيل ومنحة ناصر للقيادة الإفريقية والبرامج القومية لتدريب وتأهيل القيادات الشبابية الإفريقية ومعسكر التنشئة الوطنية لطلائع مصر والجاليات الأفريقية والملتقى الكشفى العربي الإفريقي ومهرجانات الفنون التعبيرية والتراثية والمدرسة الإفريقية الصيفية والملتقى الأول لشباب مصر والسودان تحت شعار وحدة وادى النيل ومنتدى الشباب العربي الإفريقي والمهرجان الأفروصيني بالإضافة إلى سفينة النيل ومبادرة قارة تجمعنا ومهرجان فنون الطفل الإفريقي وأوسكار الإبداع الإفريقي وبرامج تدريب الشباب المتطوعين الأفارقة والمنتديات العربية الإفريقية فضلاً عن تبادل الوفود الشبابية مع مختلف دول القارة ، والمعسكر الأفريقي لرائدات الأعمال، علاوة على استضافة 24 بطولة رياضية متنوعة في مختلف الالعاب الرياضية.
وقد كنت حريصاً وبشكل شخصى على الالتقاء مع العديد من القادة الحكوميين والوزراء ومسئولي العمل الشبابي والرياضي من مختلف دول القارة الأفريقية سواء في لقاءات ثنائية أو جماعية وذلك من قبيل الحرص على دعم أواصر التعاون بين شباب بلداننا الأفريقية في شتي المجالات
إننا في وزارة الشباب والرياضة في جمهورية مصر العربية وبتوجيهات من فخامة السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي تضع كل إمكاناتها لتكثيف أوجه التعاون وتمكين النشء والشباب الأفارقة سواء من خلال مذكرات التفاهم المشتركة مع الهيئات والمؤسسات الأفريقية وكذلك من خلال الخدمات التي يقدمها مكتب الشباب الافريقى كوحدة متخصصة بالوزارة بالشئون الأفريقية.
واتمني لكم التوفيق والنجاح وتحقيق جميع تطلعاتكم وتعظيم مساهماتكم في بناء مستقبل أوطننا التي تحظى بكم كأهم ثروة ومورد إنتاجى نعول عليه جميعاً في بناء الحاضر وصياغة المستقبل.

On the occasion of the African Youth Day
1st November 2021
My Sons and daughters Youth of our African continent…
Allow me at the outset to express my happiness to celebrate with you on the occasion of the African Youth Day, which is celebrated on the 1st of November every year since the adoption of the African Youth Charter at Banjul 2006 summit,
And the importance of African Youth Day always comes to emphasizes the awareness of decision-makers on the rights and role of youth and their contribution to social change, economic growth and sustainable development across African society, in addition to direct the ideal youth energy to enhance the efforts towards achieving sustainable development in Africa.
And also I would like to confirm to you that The African Youth Day represents the culmination of the tireless efforts made by the leaders of African States, its governments and all relevant institutions for working on magnifying the role of youth and benefiting by their contributions and to push the programs, projects and activities by empowering them in various fields and tracks of national action.
And this is which has come to fruition and appeared clearly on over many countries of our African continent in what we’re see now of a comprehensive renaissance and sustainable development programs that many countries of the continent lately enjoyed.
And here in the Arab Republic of Egypt, we are working in light of the directives of His Excellency the President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi President of Egypt of supporting, habilitating and empowering the African youth through training fellowship, educational and rehabilitation programs which offers by Egypt to its youth sons from African continent, in addition to the specialized technical fellowship which submitted by the Egyptian bodies and institutions, what contributes to opening up the development, transferring experiences and cultures in various fields and specializations.
In addition, the Egyptian political leadership has the vision and a determined will to move south towards and uphold the values of African unity with the sons of the same continent by upholding the value of cooperation (south by south).
And the Ministry of Youth and Sports has carried out tens of continental youth activities during the last period in addition to hosting many championships, events and occasions believing in the Egyptian government in all its sectors and institutions to work in progress in order to African Youth Service and achieve African collaboration in various fields and specializations.
Only over the last period, we have implemented more than 40 projects and initiatives at the level of the African continent, in which more than 30,000 youth from different countries of the continent participated, including the African Youth Forum on Citizenship and Development, the African Youth Forum for the Nile Basin Countries, the Nasser Fellowship for African Leadership, the National programs for Training and Qualifying African youth leaders, and The National Education Camp for the youngsters of Egypt , the African communities, the Arab-African Scout Forum, the Expressive and Heritage arts festivals, the pan Africa Summer School, the first meeting of the youth of Egypt and Sudan under the slogan of the unity of the Nile Valley, the Arab-African Youth Forum and the Afro-Chinese festival in addition to the Nile ship and initiative of (a continent gathers us) and the festival of African child arts, the African Talent Oscar and programs of youth trainings for African volunteers and the Arab African forums, moreover the delegations exchange of youth around the continent states, and the African camp for female entrepreneurs, and hosting 24 varied sport championships in many sport games.
I have been eager personally to meet a number of governmental leaders, ministers and persons in charge of youth and sport in many countries in the African continent in bilateral meetings or multilateral as a sign of the carefulness to foster cooperation between youth of our African countries in many fields.
We at the Ministry of Youth and Sport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and with instructions of H.E. Mr. President Abdel Fattah el Sisi, makes all its capacities to intensify all forms of cooperation and empower youngsters and African youth through either mutual MOUs with African organizations and institutions, as well as the services provided by the African youth bureau as a specialized unit at the ministry for the African affairs.
I wish you all a good luck and success and achieving all your expectations and great contribution in building the future of your countries which have you as the most important fortune and productive source we all count on in building the present and forming the future.
